Appreciating Country Music
It was during the 1920s when the radio and phonograph sector grew exponentially. To keep up with the changing times, country music was then introduced to the public. However, it was only in the 1970s that it gained much following, especially in the U.K. and Ireland. Barn dance shows featured country music during the Great Depression. Southern settlers in the U.S. used these shows and their music to translate everyday life in the rural areas. The most famous person who popularised this genre synthesised country and blues and changed its face forever. So, when you come across country music think about the struggles of the people in the rural areas years ago, and you will definitely begin to appreciate it more.
